Dr Jolyon Martin
Jolyon completed his PhD (Cambridge, UK) in Professor Bradley’s laboratory under his mentorship.  He undertook to caninize the mouse immune system, and this work formed the basis of the Ky9TM platform.

Jolyon’s research also included the first complete annotation of the canine antibody gene loci. Previously Jolyon ran business development for SimPrints, a social enterprise start-up, and worked in operations at Horizon Discovery. He was named Cambridge University Entrepreneurs Young Entrepreneur of the Year in 2017. In 2021 Jolyon was named on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe List of top entrepreneurs in the Science and Healthcare category.

At PetMedix, Jolyon is responsible for external partnerships and licensing, and led the work to secure the partnership deals with Boehringer Ingelheim and Zoetis. He also works alongside the CEO and executive team to shape commercial strategy and the company’s future direction. Beyond his commercial roles, Jolyon is also the chair of PetMedix’s Green Group, which seeks to reduce or mitigate the environmental impact of the company.
