In this role, she leads the company’s strategic investment efforts in Europe, along with development of partnerships with technology startups, universities, government and industry.
She also serves as a board director / advisory board member for several venture capital and technology firms, providing expertise on areas such as AI, quantum computing, biotech, education, fintech, music and games.
Prior to Tencent, she held various leadership roles at Imperial College London. Ling received her doctorate in Quantum Computing at Oxford University, and was a Leverhulme Fellow.
She was previously named one of the top 10 London’s most influential tech titans by the Evening Standard in 2019, and was recognised as ‘Leading Investor of the Year’ by Global Corporate Venturing.
